Traditionally, cultural competence training has been used to convey information on cultural considerations and mitigate the harm that can be done to clients when there is a lack of cultural awareness. I am passing on this free webinar that was offered by NAADAC - Association for Addiction Professionals for your enlightenment. This webinar impressed me so profoundly that I had to share it. The name is "Four Directions of Diversity - Honoring Differences". It is part of an eight presentations series of webinars (see NAADAC webpage www.naadac.org ). It was truly amazing.
